Questions, answered in plain terms.
Two groups: the product and its data, then the text-message program. If an answer is not here, the methodology page is the longer version.
The product and the data
What the desk reads, what it produces, and what it will not do.
What does Apex actually do?
It reads public filings, company announcements, and historical price and volume. It compares a new document with the prior version, marks what changed, and writes a short digest with the source passage beside each point.
It describes a public record. It does not rate a security, set a target or tell you what to do.
Does it tell me what to buy?
No. Apex does not give buy, sell or hold calls, and it does not offer personalized advice. The decision, the size and the timing stay with you. For advice about your situation, speak with a licensed professional.
Where does the data come from?
SEC filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q and 8-K), company announcements, historical end-of-day price and volume, and a published sector classification. Every output points to the passage it used.
We do not use paywalled research, private data, social posts or order flow.
Is the report on the market page live?
No. The report card and charts on the market page are a layout demonstration built from invented values. They are labelled Sample output — illustrative and are not a current view or a live quote.
What are the known limits?
Fiscal-period changes, one-off items, halted or low-liquidity securities, source delay, restatements, approximate peer sets and extraction errors. The full list is on the methodology page, together with the claims we refuse to make.
Do you connect to my brokerage account?
No. Apex does not connect to a brokerage, hold positions, execute orders or manage money. It does not ask for account credentials or identity documents.
Text messages
A marketing and promotional product program. No individual securities, trade calls or performance claims.
What texts does Apex send?
Marketing and promotional product updates only: product feature announcements, workflow guides for reading public filings, new report-format releases, educational notes about public filings, and occasional product offers.
We do not send individual securities, trade calls, target prices or performance claims by text.
How do I sign up?
Go to the product texts page, enter your mobile number, and check the optional consent box if you want messages. The box is unchecked by default and you can submit without it. Consent is not a condition of using Apex.
How often will I hear from you?
Message frequency varies. Texts are tied to product announcements, new report formats and occasional offers — not to a fixed schedule.
How do I stop messages?
Reply STOP at any time to opt out. You can also reply UNSUBSCRIBE or UNSUB. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. See our SMS Terms for the full keyword list and automatic replies.
Is my mobile information sold or shared?
No. We will not sell or share your mobile information with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. The full statement is in our Privacy Policy.
Do I need text messages to use Apex?
No. The text program is optional. You can use the site and the product without giving us a phone number or consenting to messages.
